Ex-soldier Ramon Kleens up

When former soldier Ramon
Laing was pensioned out of the army, he never thought his next job
would be popping catalogues through doors.
But,
six years later he is earning up to £70,000 doing exactly
that - and telling other people how to do it.
The
38 year old who hopes to be semi-retired within two years has created a
thriving business taking Kleeneze catalogues door-to-door around his
hometown Kirkham and neighbouring Warton, Freckleton and parts of
Preston.
He
also has a network of distributors which he and his wife, Sylvia, have
trained up to set up their own businessess, earning between
£200 and £800 a week on average, across the country.
Ramon,
who spent 13 years in the Army before being medically discharged,
admits he would have "laughed" at someone if they had told him how much
money could be made from Kleeneze.
He
said: "I tell people that we make £4,000 in 28 days and they
do not believe me, I have to show them my bank statements to prove it
to them.
"If
it was the Next catalogue we were delivering, I think people would
believe us, but Kleeneze has a stigma attached to it that people think
it is just for people with low-incomes.
"But,
these days with the financial pressures people are having, there is a
demand for our products and the convenience of having it delivered to
your door."
As
well, as cashing in on his own deliveries, the father of two also gets
a royalty bonus from the money brought in by the 200 distributors, both
large and small, that he has introduced to the business.
Now
Ramon is looking to expand his own empire into Preston with plans to
expand his team of seven distributors to in excess of 150 in the city
alone - and wants to up the numbers in his national network up to 5000.
He
said: " There is so many people doing two jobs these days because they
have more spare time or they need money, and the beauty of Kleeneze is
that it is so flexible and it makes good money."
The
Lancashire entrepreneurs have made so much they even took 21 members of
their family for a fortnight's holiday in Turkey in August, as a
thankyou for helping them set up the business.
