A
HARD working couple from Somersham have been
given a brand new car and a holiday - worth
a total of £23,000 - by their employer
as a reward for their dedication.
Richard
Woods and Helen Lambert, both 26, from Penn
Way, are now the owners of a new Mini Cooper,
and are looking forward to a 10-day holiday
in Mauritius.
Both
luxury gifts were given to the couple as part
of an incentive scheme set up by catalogue giant
Kleeneze. The pair, who have worked as distributors
for the home shopping company for three years,
were rewarded after their earnings topped £32,000
in a year.
Mr
Woods said: "We were truly amazed when
we heard we had won the Mini and the dream holiday
to Mauritiuis. We have worked really hard to
build up a distribution team of around 50 people
who have all pulled together to make this happen.
"It
still feels really weird as I don't think it
has sunk in yet."
The
new car will arrive at their house in November,
while the £10,000 holiday has been booked
for March.
The
pair became Kleeneze
distributors when they were expecting their
first child, Georgina, and wanted to work flexible
hours from home.
Miss
Lambert said: "We applied to be Kleeneze
distributors after seeing an ad in The Hunts
Post. It has worked out really well as we can
pick and choose the hours we want to work."
This
isn't the first time the couple have been rewarded
by Kleeneze for their hard work. Earlier in
the year the company paid for them and a few
of their team to go on a £5,000 long weekend
in Budapest.
Mr
Woods added: "That was amazing. It is so
great to work for a company that offer such
great rewards to hard working employees. I would
recommend it to anyone, as the company really
looks after you.
