Koala
bears and crocodiles are on the must-see list
for a Birstall couple who have been rewarded
for business success with an all-expenses paid
trip to Australia.
David
and Janet Russell, of Nova Lane, will set off
in March on a 10-day holiday to Cairnes. They
will stay in a five-star international hotel,
be taken on a catamaran trip to the Great Barrier
Reef, visit tropical rain forests and mix with
other successful Kleeneze sales reps from all
over the World.
David,
56, said: "It's somewhere I've always fancied
going, to see all the little koala bears and
crocodile parks - I've been practicing with
a boomerang."
To
inspire himself through the year, David decorated
the kitchen walls with pictures of koala bears
- and he was overjoyed to discover two weeks
ago that he and Janet had qualified for the
trip.
Just
four months ago, the couple were living the
high life in Monte Carlo, Monaco, thanks to
their success in selling Kleeneze products -
and their next aim is to qualify for a holiday
to a desert island near Kuala Lumpur in 2002.
David
started working for the company as a freelance
representative four years ago. He runs his Kleeneze
business from the kitchen table, sending out
brochures containing household goods, cleaning
products and gardening equipment.
He
is assisted by Janet, 55, who has worked full-time
nights at Fox's biscuits for almost 20 years
but helps deliver catalogues to homes in the
area.
