We were both social workers
before we joined Kleeneze, working long hours, with limited resources
to do our jobs effectively and under inhuman and mounting levels of
stress.
Derrick
was forced to take early retirement on ill health grounds and started
looking for a way of earning an extra income to help contribute to the
family finances.
Kleeneze
was the ideal solution: a way of earning money, working flexible hours
to fit around Derrick’s varying health, and with no boss to answer to!
We
worked hard to build an alternative future with Kleeneze, and after a
year Maria was able to leave her job too.
We
could not have predicted how rewarding this business has become for us,

in an idyllic setting in the countryside, next door to Maria’s parents,
to be on hand for when they need practical support.
We
love the fact that we now have control over our own lives and our
