I joined Kleeneze in June 2010 after, being made redundant from my job
in March.
I knew my niece was involved with Kleeneze, as she approached me in
2005 but, the at that time I wasn’t looking for anything. After a
couple of months of looking for employment I decided to give her a
call, and it took a few phone calls as she had changed her phone
number, and moved.
I live in a small village in Wiltshire, and initially I was a little
worried how I would distribute the catalogues and would I get orders,
as I don’t drive and the area where I live is very rural.
However I dusted off the battery to my electric bike, and decided to
give it ago!!
In my first 4 weeks I have been amazed at how the business has gone, I
have done 2 drops of books every week throughout the period, I achieved
£1500 of sales in my first 4 weeks!! Giving me a total income of
£460.42 month one from a standing start.
I have met some lovely people, inviting me for coffee, giving me tomato
plants and my bike has been a real talking point around the village.
